When I began writing the story, one thing was clear from the start: this would be a romance where the night plays a pivotal role. The Duke of Night and Lady Helen grow closer than you might expect from my previous historical romance novel. I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed writing the sizzling scenes and do hope that the red-hot spark leaps off the page to you as you read.
